I am the only person behind the “EnglishBrain” brand and product.

Unlike many software companies, I don’t have a big team of engineers, marketing people, or customer support representatives. In some ways, that’s good news for EnglishBrain users:

  • ‍EnglishBrain is affordable. Without employees, I’m able to keep my costs low. Which means I can sell EnglishBrain at a very low price compared to competitors.
  • ‍You can interact with me directly. I monitor the support@englishbrain.app inbox, so you can get in touch with me. I know exactly how the product is built and what I will and won't be able to promise you.

But because I am one person, some things will be harder:

  • Please have patience with me if some customer support emails take a while to respond to. I may be sleeping or taking a day off 🙂
  • I'll work hard to keep EnglishBrain running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But it's entirely possible that something will break, and there will be some downtime!

I've seen how hard it can be to learn English, especially if you didn't grow up learning and speaking it. At the same time, I've seen how valuable strong English speaking and writing skills can be. I'm here to help you bridge that gap: to provide you with tools and resources that power your "English brain" and empower you to work fluently with the English language.

The EnglishBrain Story

What's an "English Brain"?

I was born in Lithuania in the 1990’s, and my parents immigrated with me to the United States when I was two years old.

Since I was around 13, my parents have been asking me to edit their important writings. Negotiation emails. Social media posts. Text messages to new American friends. I had the luxury of growing up around native English speakers, so my language ability was regularly helpful to my parents in this way.

The unfortunate reality is that many native English speakers will take you more seriously when you speak and write English well. This fact of life made sense to me, and I was always happy to help.

Today, even though my parents been in the US for over 20 years and use English every day, they still don’t have a fully “English brain” speaking in their mind. And so their English continues to have room for improvement and polish.

Come 2023, I realized the technology exists to not only automate the message-fixing I’ve been doing for my parents, but also make it faster and more accessible. I built the EnglishBrain tool, so now my parents get these fixes on all their messages. Not just the ones they send to me.

With the launch of EnglishBrain, this service is now available to everyone. I hope you find it useful 🙂
